SiR seeking New Partners to Sponsor a School and more

Without new customers having to pay anything extra for our Teaching and Learning materials to sponsor another school, we hope that we can find new partner organisations that wish to share their success and are truly commit to implementation of benevolence for those who are less fortunate.

The sharing of success has always been at the root of the philosophy of SiR and its associates and we have selected an education related project to benefit from donations.

WFCT.org.uk is UK Registered Charity with aims for the Relief of Poverty.

Setup in 2001 the charity has detailed a project to 'Break the Cycle of Poverty' through the delivery of Education for All.
The 'Buddy Network' a 4-Tier Learner Support Program is a scalable project for each community of any size to benefit learners who would otherwise not receive any education whatsoever.

For every school that purchases our "All for one, and one for all" package we shall donate HALF! of the software income to the charity, who are currently helping schools and communities in the Philippines and will also be replicating this in Indonesia and Thailand.

For those who can get to school (Government figures:only 40% aged 6 - 24)
At present some schools have over 100 learners to a class, rainwater can be ankle deep in the classroom, and there are not enough chairs so they have to share. Can you help?

School Partnering/twinning

It may be of interest to know that we are promoting School Twinning with schools overseas and in the UK for those purchasing the Discovery package.
The purpose is to have a sustainable solution and that schools, new to our Teaching and Learning materials, feel supported by another school of a similar type, whilst being able to enjoy cultural exchange.
There is a school (now!) in India and the Philippines wishing to 'Twin'.

China Projects

China is a country of great excitement and one of the largest English speaking nations. Our Global English program provides a helper voice in Mandarin to help learners understand the learning process and accelerate progression. Dialects and other languages can also be applied.

We have also been asked by the British Council in Hong Kong to establish Associate Qualification Exchange between Colleges in China and UK.
This comes in two general levels, though not specifically drawing a line between them, in that the areas of consideration are wherever there is a synergy of curriculum subject that could include Vocational paths to Higher Education.

The exchange, similar to other programmes, will enable a learner from either country, that has completed an associate qualification in their own country, to travel to the other, and their qualification will be recognised as if they had taken it in that country.

This will be of good news to Business Development Managers in Colleges, but also provide an opportunity for students to gain a transportable qualification.
