The joining of these two well established educational supply companies has formed an organisation with formidable financial, developmental and intellectual resources.

SiR is dedicated to the provision of Integrated Learning Systems specifically developed for the UK National Curriculum and in addition to the thousands of Global Learning Systems users, more than 400 schools are experiencing the benefits offered by the use of SiR ILS solutions in the educational environment.

SiR is dedicated to development activities resulting in a series of products that work well together with the strategic aim to enable the powers of modern technology to be utilised to the full in British education.

A majority of our software comes from tried and tested paperbased activities, and is the result of the work of British teachers in British shools. Both Global English and Global Maths have been shown in independent evaluations to have produced, as a result of their usage, learning gains which are significantly greater than would have otherwise been expected with those students who have special educational needs or need learning support.

That is why SiR shall always be committed to use modern technology to enhance the quality and speed of learning and to develop a flexible and open approach to teaching - in the classroom and the home.
